B/Back Pawnbrokers started in December 1995. The original store was at Bellwood Plaza in London, Ontario. The business grew quickly and the next year it relocated to larger premises at 978 Oxford Street East at the corner of Oxford and Quebec Street in the North end of the city. The business continued to grow substantially and the owners decided to open their 2nd location at 771 Southdale Road and Adelaide in the south end of the city in November 1998. They brought in another partner to run this location.
As the years went by and the business continued to grow each year, it was decided that the partners were to purchase a 6,000 sq. ft. building and open its 3rd location at 215 Wharncliffe Road South in the west end of the city. Because of its size and warehouse capabilities they could bring in larger items for loans and store our extra inventory and from imports from China and the United States. The partners brought in a jewelry expert as a partner for this location.
B/Back Pawnbrokers has experts in all fields of the business. All 3 locations continue to grow each year and now employ 14 in the businesses. Our customer’s satisfaction is our number 1 goal and the main reason we continue to grow.
